As a young graphic designer, I got my first position with a large IT Training company — and my loyalty to the business and to my team allowed me to stay for more than 20 years as a freelance contractor and as Art Director of the Infotec inhouse graphics department. Infotec and its five smaller enterprises have a been a foundation in my career — and my relationship with them is still in place today.
I spent several years working directly with the team at Infotec’s main office in Virginia Beach, VA, and then proceeded to work remotely for the next 17 years, from California and from Stockholm. Ann Perry, CEO of the large IT Training company, became a key individual in my life as we embarked on a long and steady partnership and friendship. This position, and this relationship, has been an honor for me — and my continuity in the position, despite my location, shows my strength as a loyal and dedicated designer.
As the primary designer and Art Director for the marketing department, I have been able to support Infotec with UX/UI web design, course material, marketing collateral, brand identity, creative space design, magazine advertisements, trade-show design, and over 500 email campaigns.
Infotec works closely with world-recognized brands: Microsoft, CISCO, CompTIA, Scrum, Adobe, GSA, Project Management Institute, and many others. I have been responsible for following each brand’s guidelines as I have
marketed Infotec’s courses and brands via a variety of channels.
It’s been wonderful to be able to help Infotec to grow, during these 20-plus years, and to work with, and help to develop, brands and businesses across the globe.
20 years of portfolio available upon request.
